Amit is understood for his performances in films like Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Shorr in the City, Yamla Pagla Deewana, and Kya Kehna, among others.
Amit became a renowned name additionally in the television industry. He became recognized for his stint in Tenali Rama and Shubh Mangal Savdhan.
The actor made his virtual debut with Bandish Bandits.
TellyChakkar was given in contact with actor Darshan Zariwala, who has been a near buddy of Amit. Recalling his bond with the actor, Darshan said, “Our friendship began out as we starred in some Gujrati performs together. He became a completely talented actor. We also starred in a Gujrati movie together. He became deeply immersed in and loved music. We linked very well to our love for music. We used to each sing together. It’s very shocking and saddening to lose a chum and an artist like him at the early age of 47 years.”
