Standing proudly beside her mother, Vivienne was present as Matthew Rego accepted the award on behalf of the entire team.
In a notable move, Vivienne recently opted to drop her father’s surname, Brad Pitt, from “The Outsiders” playbill. This decision follows her older sister Shiloh’s legal filing to remove Pitt from her last name, highlighting the strong bond and support Angelina receives from her children.
At the event, Angelina celebrated the success of the production she helped bring to life, performing the musical number “Tulsa ’67” on stage. Reflecting on the enduring relevance of “The Outsiders,” she remarked, “[S. E.] Hinton wrote The Outsiders in high school, and half a century later, it still speaks to us. Society changes, but the experience of being an outsider is universal.”
