Sixteen-time Grammy winner Adele has once again captured headlines by confronting a fan who made homophobic remarks. During her Las Vegas show over the weekend, an audience member disrupted the concert by shouting, “Pride Sucks!” This incident occurred on June 1, the first day of Pride Month.
As a vocal ally of the LGBTQ community, Adele did not hesitate to respond. She addressed the individual directly, saying:
“What was that? Did you just say, ‘Pride sucks? Did you come to my fcking show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you fcking stupid? Don’t be so f*cking ridiculous.”
This bold reaction from the “Easy on Me” singer quickly went viral on the internet.
At the outset, the 36-year-old singer was thoroughly enjoying her performance. However, the atmosphere shifted dramatically after she overheard the insensitive remark.
Once the video surfaced online, social media users praised Adele for her response. Admirers flooded social media with expressions of love and respect, calling her behavior iconic and dubbing her their queen.
This incident is not the first time Adele has publicly supported the LGBTQ+ community. She has consistently demonstrated her commitment to standing in solidarity with them.

In 2011, Adele performed at Pride in London without charging a fee. In 2016, she dedicated a concert in Belgium to those affected by the Pulse nightclub shooting, where around 50 people lost their lives in a mass shooting at the Orlando gay nightclub.
Reflecting on her connection with the LGBTQ community, Adele stated:
“The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soulmates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it.”
