Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the iconic rapper and music mogul, is at the center of a serious legal battle after being accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking. The allegations come from former adult film star Andria English, who claims that Combs assaulted and trafficked her over several years during his infamous “White parties.”
On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, Andria English filed a lawsuit in the Southern District Court of New York. The lawsuit alleges that Combs hired her to attend numerous “White parties” in the Hamptons, New York, where she was coerced into engaging in prostitution and other sex work.
The lawsuit also names several companies and individuals allegedly involved in the events, including Bad Boy Entertainment Holdings, Inc., Vibe Magazine, and Penske Media Corporation (PMC), among others. These entities are accused of playing a role in the events where the alleged misconduct took place.
Jonathan Davis, Combs’ attorney, responded strongly to the lawsuit, stating, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.” Davis emphasized that, despite the accusations, the judicial system exists to uncover the truth, and Combs is confident that he will be exonerated in court.
According to the lawsuit, Andria English was allegedly pressured by Combs to engage in sexual activities with guests at the “White parties,” which were known for their exclusivity and high-profile attendees. Among the guests mentioned in the lawsuit is jeweler Jacob Arabo.
The legal filing also claims that Combs provided narcotics at these parties and spiked drinks with ecstasy, leaving English unable to recall specific details due to the alleged drug use. Her attorney stated that she was “unable to recall details from the Miami ‘White Parties’ due to the increased demand that Plaintiff engage in illicit narcotics and alcohol use while employed for Defendant Combs.”
This lawsuit is the latest in a string of allegations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. As of July 2024, more than six individuals have come forward with similar claims of sexual assault. Additionally, on March 25, 2024, investigators raided Combs’ Los Angeles property as part of an ongoing investigation into these accusations.
Despite the mounting legal challenges, Combs has firmly denied all allegations against him. In a public statement, he declared, “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy.”
The case against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is expected to unfold in the courts, where the truth behind these serious accusations will ultimately be determined.
