Blackpink’s Jennie Kim has made her runway debut, stunning fans at Jacquemus’ show in Italy. The 28-year-old singer, cherished by many as a member of the K-pop sensation Blackpink, closed out Jacquemus’ 15th-anniversary show titled “La Casa.” For the event, she donned an open-back black midi dress paired with zebra-print heels and a blue clutch.
Although her runway appearance was kept under wraps, Jacquemus teased fans with a series of images on Instagram. One photo featured Kim at the beach, wearing a unique towel-like red strapless dress and black sunglasses. In accompanying video clips, she is seen casually strolling along the beach while holding the towel.
The debut’s allure was heightened by the breathtaking cliffside sea views on the Italian island. Despite the presence of stars like Dua Lipa, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennie captivated the audience, leaving a lasting impression.
This isn’t Jennie’s first foray into representing high-end brands. Last year, she became the face of Guirlande, appearing in cozy sets for the holiday campaign alongside dogs.
Her relationship with French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus has also been in the spotlight. She has attended numerous shows by the 34-year-old designer over the years.
Jennie also had a standout moment at the Met Gala last month, wearing a custom blue Alaïa mini dress. This marked her second appearance at the prestigious event, following her debut in 2023 in a chic ’90s vintage Chanel look.
