Zayn Malik, known for his hit “Dusk Till Dawn,” recently shared his experience with online dating, revealing that he was booted off Tinder after being mistaken for a catfish. In an interview with Nylon Magazine, the 31-year-old singer disclosed that users doubted his authenticity, assuming he couldn’t possibly be Zayn Malik himself.
“I’ve been kicked off once or twice,” Zayn stated, recounting the challenges he faced while attempting to navigate the world of online dating. He candidly shared insights into his past relationships, including his engagement to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards from age 17 to 21, and his subsequent romance with Gigi Hadid, with whom he shares a daughter.
Reflecting on his journey, Zayn remarked, “From 17 to 21, I was in a relationship… I didn’t know anything about anything at that point.” His relationship with Perrie Edwards ended in August 2015. Subsequently, his six-year relationship with Gigi Hadid came to a close in October 2021.
Despite the challenges and heartbreaks, Zayn expressed contentment with his current single status, stating, “I’m really content and happy with being single for the first time in my life.”
