Kannada language speakers slammed the search engine giant to insult a historical significant language, which came from more than 2,000 years.
Google has removed the response and apologized, said the search results were not always perfect.
Google attracted a massive counter-attack in this country recently after it showed Kannada, a language that was mostly spoken in the southwestern part of India, in response to the search request “the most uglly language”.

According to images distributed extensively on social media, answers to questions, “What is the ugliest language in India?” is Kannada. “The answer is Kannada which was spoken by around 40 million people in South India,” according to the screen of the search results screen.
The Karnataka government also condemned this on Thursday and warned the right actions against Google. “This is very small thing. If Google or other people behave with the insult of Kannada or Kannada’s insults, the right actions will be taken against them,” said Arvind Limbawali, Minister of Forest, Kannada and Culture in Karnataka.
Limbawali also said that the Secretary of the Department had been reduced about this problem and had been ordered to issue notifications to Google soon.
